Come Watch Paté de Fuá Perform At The Camino Real November 12th
Friends of Music (Amigos de la Musica) Huatulco, is putting on a concert next month showcasing a band whose made quite the name for itself in the Mexican music scene – none other than Paté de Fuá.
Who Are They
Paté de Fuá, is a sextet whose exciting instrumentation – which includes banjo, accordion, bandoneón, trumpet, clarinet, guitar, bass, set, vibraphone, cavaquinho, among others – Highlights the creativity and vision of its members. Their remarkable repetoire includes an outstanding fusion of genres, such as, Dixieland, traditional jazz, tango, pasodoble, bal-musette, etc.
If the best music is created through fusion – this group, with two Argentines and four Mexicans, confirms it.
Their sense of irony, dark humor, clear language and superb acoustic resources has taken them to more than 200 stages in Mexico and abroad.

Paté de Fuá was selected to be part of the most representative group of Mexican music in Medellin, Colombia where they will offer a concert in one of the best theaters.
– The group will present its third album “boquita pintada” on November 5th at the Metropolitan Theater in Mexico City.
– Winner of two prizes at Indie Music O Awards 2010: “Best Jazz-Fusion Band” and “The People’s Prize”.
– The group received a fellowship from FONCA through the Performing Arts Mett and has made the musical score for two foreign films. Acknowledged by the Mexican press as one of the most important happenings in the cultural-artistic arena, Pate De Fua is in their prime.
