You will coast from bay to bay on a gorgeous 42″ cabin cruiser, complete with crew. Speaking of the crew – their knowledge and expertise allow them to find you the best fishing, snorkeling and swimming spots in the area. All the while educating you on the many attractions you will come across during your Huatulco yacht tour.
This stunning 42″ yacht allows ample seating for guest with room to fit 12 people comfortably. The spacious deck on at the front of the boat provides an excellent spot to lay back and tan.
The inside cabin offers tons of extra seating while also providing a place to escape the sun. It also includes a small kitchen area complete with a fridge to keep snacks and drinks cold, as well as a bathroom.
You will begin your yacht tour in the Santa Cruz harbor, it is here were you will board the 42″ yacht.
This protruding rock face offers more than one attraction. First of all the amazing lighthouse or “el Faro” acts as a guiding light for those entering the harbor. And secondly, the repeated impact of the water crashing into the rocks has created a blowhole, so that every time the water makes impact it spews it several meters into the air.
As you leave the lighthouse and blowhole, you will turn the corner into Maguey, it is here where the captain will typically drop anchor and allow you to do some exploring.
As you can see, Maguey bay includes some minor developments; however, it is still relatively barren. While here you should make a point to check out Ay Caray! a palapa style restaurant offering the freshest seafood you can imagine.
You may ask the captain to stop the boat and allow you to do some fishing; if you’re lucky, you may even catch one! Those that would like to fish, must give the tour company 24 hours notice so they can arrange the fishing gear.
As you continue the yacht tour, you will come upon “faces in the rocks”. An amazing natural occurrence where the rocks naturally formed to look like a face looking back at you. **see if you can spot it, centered in the photo**
You will then come upon Cacaluta, a underdeveloped bay that provides an excellent snorkeling spot.
La India is a remote beach on Chachacual bay. It it completely undeveloped and is home to more than 100 000 golf turtles who travel here yearly to lay their eggs.
Finally you will be taken to San Agustin, a highly developed bay that houses all sorts of restaurants and shops. It is the perfect spot to hop off the boat and enjoy some drinks or grab a bite to eat.
This is a shot taken while returning to the Santa Cruz harbor after a wonderful day cruising the ocean on the Huatuclo chartered yacht tour.
