If you’re in the mood for some amazing seafood, be sure to check out Azul Profundo located inside the Camino Real resort. Their self-titled Thai-Mex fusion includes some traditional French influences that result in a well balanced seafood menu.
As mentioned, the restaurant is located on the grounds of Camino Real in Tangolunda Bay. If you happen to be staying in an off site private villa, don’t worry, the staff at Camino Real are more than willing to have you for the day or simply for a meal.
Hours Of Operation
7:00pm – Midnight
(During the day the restaurant itself is not open but they do have a menu with a variety of dishes to choose from, and of course plenty of drinks.)
Although there are some alternatives, this is absolutely a seafood restaurant and they showcase it well. Below are their suggested dishes;
Brie mille-feuille: Fried shrimp in a chipotle and tomato dressing.
Capellini al mezcal: shrimp sauteed with garlic, wild mushrooms, prosciutto, and a red wine sauce.
Orange ice-cream soufflé, red-fruit compote in Merlot.
Azul Profundo, and Camino Real in general, are known for their impeccable service. It’s arguably the best in the area. In fact – if you make arrangements in advance – they will set up a beautiful private table for you right on the beach at no added fixed cost.
You just pay for your meal and tip for the service. For this same experience in a place like Hawaii, you’d be looking to pay upwards of $1000.
Reservations are required, you can either make arrangements at the front desk or call;
